The skin your beard covers is the driest skin on your face, and the hardest to reach. This cream is built for exactly that: light enough to sink in, so the hair over it stays matte instead of shiny. Rosewater and argan do the hydrating, and the scent is orange blossom, rich rather than sharp.
What your skin gets back
Whatever oil your skin makes, the hair wicks up and drinks first, leaving the roots drier than your cheeks. The longer the hair, the more it takes. A cream puts water back and then holds it there, which is the part an oil on its own can’t do: rosewater and glycerin bring the water, argan and prickly pear keep it from leaving.
Which one your skin needs first
If your skin feels tight by the afternoon and your beard already behaves, this is the piece you’re missing. A cream hydrates the skin, a beard oil conditions the hair, and a balm or a wax holds a shape. Start here, then add the others only if the hair itself still feels rough. Original is the one scent in the moisturizer line we don’t match to a beard oil, so it pairs with whatever you already wear.
How to use
Work a small amount into your palms and press it into the skin under your beard after washing, then comb the beard into shape. Once a day is enough.
